from press statement:The project “Meetings at the Center of the World” carries the aim of presenting Istanbul, which will be embarking the mission of “The Culture Capital of Europe for the year 2010”, as not only the center of tourism, but also a center of allurement in the eyes of the world’s intellectuals.
In the scope of this project, the world’s intellectuals will be meeting with Turkish philosophers and authors and debating the subjects that have become an issue for the humanity.
